Scholarships
There are numerous opportunities for students to help finance their education abroad through scholarships. We urge students to take the time to obtain information and apply.
GW has created the GW Undergraduate Scholarships for Study Abroad to encourage students to study in less traditional locations, at university exchange partner institutions, and for a full academic year. GW has also established scholarships to help students on Federal work-study supplement the income forfeited during a semester abroad.
Finally, some of the institutions and organizations that help us provide study abroad opportunities for GW students award their own scholarships. If you are planning to study abroad through an approved affiliated program, check the Program Provider Scholarships for more details.
The US and foreign governments as well as private organizations have established Other Scholarship Opportunities that may be related to your particular study abroad location and study goals.
