Resources For Parents
The Office for Study Abroad encourages parents to take an active role in supporting their son's or daughter's interest to study abroad. The support and encouragement of a parent can make all the difference in how a student goes about the process and how well-prepared a student is to undertake study abroad. We encourage students to be pro-active when making the decision to study abroad and encourage them to take responsibility in meeting the necessary requirements for the application and transfer credit process. Please encourage your student to stop by our office during open advising hours (Monday-Friday, 1:00-5:00 p.m.) to ask any questions pertaining to the study abroad and application process.
