Safety

The security of GW students abroad has always been a primary concern for the Office for Study Abroad. Through the Office for Study Abroad, the University monitors local, national, and international sources for the latest information concerning security measures abroad and develops security awareness on the part of participants through the predeparture orientation program. The Office for Study Abroad is in regular contact with GW study centers, exchanges, and affiliated programs to be better informed of local security contexts and factors that may affect student security abroad.
