Approval for Volatile Destinations
Students who sign an additional security release form, if required for their destination, are eligible to receive transfer credit under the University's usual conditions for study abroad as indicated in the University Bulletin. The signature of a parent or legal guardian may also be required. Students who do not complete the release form or fulfill any additional requirements for their destination will not be able to apply financial assistance and will not be eligible for the transfer of credit to GW.
Should the University suspend approval for study abroad in particular destinations or for programs already in progress, students who choose to enroll or to continue in study abroad programs in these destinations will do so without the approval of the University and will not be able to apply financial assistance or transfer credit to GW. The University reserves the right to introduce or modify requirements for study abroad approval according to the security protocol at any time.
