London School of Economics & Political Science
Is this the program for me?
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is an ideal choice for students wishing to study social, political or economic sciences at one of the world's most international universities.
Because LSE believes in offering visiting students a comprehensive and fully integrated experience, the School only accepts students for a year-long program.
Highlights
As an elite institution of only 3,800 undergraduates, whose alumni include approximately 30 past and present heads of state, LSE is a meeting place for future government, financial and business leaders.
In LSE's stimulating and cosmopolitan environment, discussions on current social, economic and political concerns benefit from the easy interchange of ideas between the School and the "real" world.
GW students at LSE enjoy the opportunity to focus on four courses intensively during their year of study abroad.
Calendar
The LSE academic year is divided into three terms:
Michaelmas Term: late September-early December
Lent Term: early January-mid-March
Summer Term: late April-late June (including end of year exams)
Students may only enroll at LSE for a full academic year including all three terms; single semester or term study options are not available.
