A small Hall of just fifty to 50-55 students, with only five places for visiting students, Greyfriars offers a unique holistic approach to the study of liberal arts
Within the Oxford tradition, students at Greyfriars participate in the myriad of clubs, societies and sports activities that are an essential part of life at Oxford.
Students participate in the traditional Oxford tutorial system in which self-motivation and self-discipline are essential components for academic success.

Students benefit from individual weekly tutorials with Oxford faculty while having access to a wide range of supplementary lectures organized by each Faculty.
Study at Greyfriars combines the resources of a large world renowned university with a small, supportive community of Fellows and tutors who are focused on helping the individual student's progress and well-being.
Founded by the Catholic Franciscan Order, which first came to Oxford in 1224, Greyfriars is committed to promoting Christian values but welcomes candidates of any religious persuasion, or none.
Calendar
The Oxford academic year is divided into three terms:
Michaelmas Term: early October-early December
Hilary Term: mid January-mid-March
Trinity Term: late April-mid-June
Students may only enroll at Greyfriars Hall for a full academic year including all three terms; single semester or term study options are not available.
