Royal Holloway, University of London

Is this the program for me?

Ranked as one of the top 10 research-led universities in the UK, Royal Holloway offers a wide range of courses in social sciences, sciences, management, and the humanities, including drama and theater, and media arts.

Royal Holloway's self-contained, park-like campus, situated near the entrance to Windsor Great Park and only a forty-minute train ride for downtown London, fosters a welcoming and supportive environment for study abroad students.

Highlights

With a high rating in national rankings of teaching excellence, Royal Holloway maintains a strong academic reputation. Every field in their Faculty of Science from biological sciences to computer science to physics received top scores. Other fields with particularly high rankings include: classics, drama and theater, English, media arts, music, history, and psychology.

Students will find it easy to make new friends and integrate into British life at this self-contained, residential campus with a relatively small enrollment of 7,000 students, mostly from the south eastern region of England.

Through Royal Holloway's active Study Abroad Social Program, GW students can take advantage of numerous campus activities, a strong sports tradition, excursions to local sites, and even a special orientation in London.
