University of Sussex
Is this the program for me?
The University of Sussex offers a flexible learning environment where students can choose from over 1,000 courses ranging from art history to the sciences.
A self-contained campus in a parkland setting, the University of Sussex sits on the edge of the lively seaside resort of Brighton and is located just an hour from downtown London.
Highlights
Because over 90 percent of the Sussex faculty work in research groups that are rated as being of national or international excellence, students are taught by scholars who play important roles in the latest developments in their fields.
Founded in 1961, Sussex is an exciting and young British university with an international reputation for innovative and effective styles of teaching.
Visiting students at Sussex are immediately welcomed into a warm and friendly atmosphere that encourages interaction between professors and students.
GW has an exchange agreement with the University of Sussex that brings students from Sussex to the GW campus for a year of study. GW students have the opportunity to meet undergraduates from Sussex in Washington prior to studying abroad.
