La Mission Interuniversitaire de Coordination des Echanges Franco-Americains (MICEFA) is an exclusive network of French universities partnered with American institutions to provide international education opportunities through exchange of French and American students. Through MICEFA, GW students with advanced French language skills have the option to enroll in one of fifteen French universities in and around Paris. Students from a wide array of fields in the humanities and social sciences will find relevant courses of study in one of the many institutions associated with MICEFA. The program is complemented by a three-week orientation each semester as well as special courses offered to assist American students understand the cultural and linguistic environment in France.
