Mandatory orientation to prepare students for study abroad and provide important registration information.
Who?
Students who have been accepted to, have applied to, or will be applying to a study abroad program for the following semester are required to attend one Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) from the schedule.
Which one?
Students are highly encouraged to attend a regional PDO. Students who are unable to attend a regional PDO must attend a general PDO. Students attending a GW Study Program in England, Paris, Madrid or Latin America must attend the GW Program PDO. Students participating in a GW short-term faculty-led program will have separate orientations for their class and do not need to attend any of the following sessions.
